Jackie Hoskins
Education Specialist and Effective Lifelong Learning Inventory (ELLI) Consultant Jackie is a retired teacher with over twenty year’s experience of working with students of all ages in the public and private sectors. She has a degree in history from Reading University and was Head of Upper School for ten years. She was responsible for the pastoral care of the older pupils and involved in the school policy development and implementation for raising achievement. Jackie is also the mother of a dyslexic daughter who has gone on to gain a Ph.D., so she has extensive experience of helping students who have difficulties studying in and out of school. Recently Jackie has been studying the wealth of new information that is being published on effective lifelong learning; in particular the research work that is being carried out by the Graduate School of Education at the University of Bristol and by the European Commission’s Centre for Research on Lifelong Learning. 



 Georgina Hall
Education Advisor and Specialist Teacher in Individual Learning Georgina has a Masters Degree in Education, specialising in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning in school and the provision of support in peripatetic settings. Until recently, Georgina was head of a preparatory school where she had the overall responsibility of the teaching and learning in all curricula areas and the pastoral care of pupils from 4 -11 years of age. Previously, she taught infants in a rural primary school, was a learning support teacher in a residential secondary special school for pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and a specialist peripatetic teacher working with individual pupils who were unable to attend or were excluded from school.  

With more than 20 years in a variety of educational settings, Georgina is a qualified teacher with extensive experience both in the private and public sectors, including special education. She is committed to supporting individual pupils in order to raise their level of achievement and giving them confidence in their own ability.
